Now that I am semi-retired and have time to write, I plan to write mostly about end of life and grief issues. I love doing hospice social work as much now as I did when I started over twenty years ago. As you may already know, a hospice social worker helps people cope with and adjust to the final months, days, hours, and minutes of their lives. Because hospice care includes support for the family, I have also helped thousands of family members and friends during their loved one’s illness and after the loss.
My background includes a Masters in Divinity from Yale University and a Masters in Social Work from the Univ. of CT. I’ve written about and presented end of life and grief issues in hospices, churches, and schools.
I may also write about other topics I’m interested in and have a lot of experience with, like living with chronic illness, working towards wellness, parenting, listening, and being on a spiritual journey.
I look forward to learning from the other Hubbers in the HubPages community how to publish online and earn some money in the process.
